All Good Things Must Come to an End...

I must share that our camera met an untimely demise Friday when the kids decided to take pictures of a water balloon war that was waging on our property. I'm sure our camera never saw it coming. A balloon was launched by a certain girl, who shall remain anonymous, (but her initials are M.C.B.) and hit another (M.A.B.) who was poised to catch the action with said camera. The display screen went blank and we were unable to close the shutter despite repeated efforts. Uncle Kevin thought he may be able to revive the camera after it was properly dried out, however his attempts proved to be in vain.

Our camera had a good, but short, life with our family. It's first outing was to a hands on museum with the children where we got an o.k. shot of a T-Rex.



Just days after joining the family, the camera accompanied one of the members on an Italian vacation.



In addition to be being a world traveler, the camera went to Virginia and Washington D.C. twice, to the beach countless times,



and even squirrel hunting.



We celebrated births



and birthdays.



Rough'n it times



and restful times.



So, it is with much sadness (especially since I had sewing projects to post) that we say farewell to our camera.
