Library Day

Monday is library day. The county library has this great truck full of books and the most wonderful librarian. This last Monday Maia wanted to bake cookies to take to the library lady, as she is affectionately known. Josiah was eager to help and even wore an apron! Madison had me buy camo fabric a long time ago to make Josiah his own apron, but that has never materialized. He looks pretty pleased with my garlic apron. (like his new haircut?)

Inside the truck the kiddos can choose books, play with the stuffed snake, and even color a picture. Oh, it's also air conditioned!

Outside the truck it was very hot and Maia was not interested in having her picture taken. Maris was the only willing to pose. Josiah was dragging his bag of books across the parking lot toward the car.
